Genesis 1:27 “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

As Christians we need to understand that we are made in the image of God. We are also called to bear that image everywhere we go and to everyone we come into contact with. We have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of God, in other words, to be a Christophany!

What’s a Christophany? A Christophany is an appearance, or non-physical manifestation, of Christ. You can be a Christophany in someone’s life by simply loving them (e.g. you could write an encouraging note to someone who is discouraged, sponsor a child, do random acts of kindness for your neighbors, tell a person about Jesus’ love for them, etc.)!

The Greatest form of worship we can do as Christians is to be a Christophany to someone else. To be the hands and feet of Christ!

QUESTION 1. How have you seen someone be a Christophany in your life?
QUESTION 2. How did it feel when Christ appeared to you through someone else?
CHALLENGE: We challenge to bear the image of Christ and be a Christophany to someone today! When people taste and see your life may they see that the Lord is good!
