Ecclesiastes 4:10 “If either of them falls down, one can help the other up; but pity anyone who falls and has no one to help him up.”

Several times in the Bible we see Jesus reaching out to help people, whether it’s healing a man who’s been blind since birth (John 9), or a woman who has been bleeding for 12 years (Matthew 9:20-22). Jesus always takes the time to help someone in need. The greatest example of this is when Jesus is hanging on the cross. He is suffering. He is suffocating. He is dying. The thief next to him cries out, “Jesus! Remember me when you enter your kingdom!” And Jesus takes the time to comfort him and reassure him he will be with him in paradise. Wow! Jesus never misses an opportunity to help a person in need.

We challenge you to take the time, to get out of your comfort zone and help those who need it, because you never know when it might be your last opportunity.
