Philippians 1:27

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel….

One thing that really stands out to me about Jesus is that he did not go around demanding that people listen to him or believe what he said. Jesus simply lived in such a way that his words and his actions aligned. He knew who He was and He lived accordingly. People were impacted by what Jesus had to say because they knew how he lived. They were also intrigued by how He lived because of what He said. There was value in both His words and His actions because they were consistent.

The best way to share the Gospel is to live like you believe it! People would not want to believe what you say if they do not see how it impacts your life. This does not mean you have to live a perfect life to be a good example. It means living your life in a way that admits your weaknesses and your need to depend upon God in everything. It is okay to be messy; God is in the business of making something beautiful out of our messiness.

You are created in the image of God. You are created with a purpose and you are no mistake. You are forgiven. You are empowered by Christ’s strength. You are a part of something bigger than yourself. You are fully known and deeply loved. Let your words and actions reflect that in all areas of your life, and others will notice.
