TRUST

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Trust is a very hard thing to come by these days. This may be because so many people have been burned by broken promises, false advertising, and misleading intentions. In fact, the older people get, the harder it gets for them to trust anyone. While it is true that it’s hard to trust people, this shouldn’t be the case for God. When God makes a promise he always keeps it. God never lies and God loves you more than you can ever know. If you have a need, God wants you to share it with him. God is able to do immeasurably more than anything we could ever imagine. Remember this is the God who parted the Red Sea, who made the lame walk, gave sight to the blind, and will move mountains if needed (Mark 11:23). But it is imperative to remember one thing; that is, God is not a vending machine. You can’t shoot out a prayer like you put a quarter into a vending machine and get your request granted. God will give you what you need in accordance with his good and perfect will (Philippians 2:13). Bring your needs before God and don’t be afraid to search out his good and perfect will for your life.
